September 6, 2001: State Grant Eyed As Cure For Long Pond Ills Summarizes the findings of recent studies of Long Pond water quality and suggested actions for improvement, along with speculation as to the causes of the present imbalances among the pond's chemicals and organisms. Mentions the grant application filed with Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
