| (NOTE: This grant request was denied late in 2001) Lake and Pond Watershed Demonstration Restoration and Protection Project -- The Brewster Conservation Commission has applied for a grant to treat Long Pond under this program -- 25 other entities across the state have also applied. Grant awards to at most a few of the applicants are expected to be announced in late September or early October, 2001.
